Voices

It was an evening of late July of 2015, I was in the supermarket selecting the packets of noodles from the rack when I heard a voice coming from the other side of the aisle.
Excuse me! Can you tell me where is the dairy section? she asked the employee.
The way she sounds was strange yet familiar, as she stopped speaking I craved for her voice so much that I rushed to the aisle where the voice came from then I looked into other sections but she was nowhere to be found. I was looking for someone who I haven't seen but only heard. After giving up looking for her I resumed my shopping. My phone started buzzing it was mum.
Aarav where are you its been 2 hrs.? she asked.
Mom, I'm finishing up I'll be home in half hou.....
I was interrupted by a  tap on the shoulder. I turned around to see who it was.
You're blocking the way, will you please move a little. she said
It was her. I froze, but my legs found a way to do what she asked for. Time stood still at that moment except her, she smiled and walked away. That was the prettiest smile that I've ever seen. Before I regained my senses she was lost again.
On my drive back home I couldn't stop thinking about her, and her voice was stuck in my mind. I was half-laughing at my behavior, that how I stood there gawking and let her leave without knowing her whereabouts. I wish I could see her again and in no time I was home. When I open the door I was shocked as I saw the most unexpected person standing in front of me, it was her. If I had asked for the world today, God would have given me that too.
Hey Aarav, meet Ahana she is our new neighbor, she shifted yesterday. mom said
